TRUSTEE SWEARING-IN CEREMONY: PUBLIC INVITED

There may be a little business (selection of Board officers) prior to the break for the ceremonial portion of the meeting. There will be cake! The business meeting reconvenes after our celebration.
Whether you are able to come or not, I want to express my gratitude for your support and help in our successful campaign.
- As your trustee, Dr. Lorraine Prinsky will bring an independent and fresh perspective with high ethical values to the Coast Community College District Board.
- As a dedicated professor at California State University Fullerton for over 35 years, Lorraine Prinsky has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, and with faculty and administrators.
- Lorraine Prinsky's experience in university strategic planning will be an asset on the Coast Community College District Board of trustees. She has a very good understanding of issues in California higher education and the ability to make tough choices during this time of financial strain.
- Lorraine Prinsky has been a leader and innovator in service learning approaches at CSUF. Dr. Prinsky will bring this expertise and experience to the Coast Community College District.
- Lorraine Prinsky has bipartisan support.
The Coast Community College District includes Orange Coast College, Golden West College and Coastline Community College.
The following communities are within the borders of the CCCD and may vote for trustees: Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Westminster, Garden Grove, Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, Sunset Beach and Newport Coast.
"The Board of Trustees is responsible for the quality, integrity and financial sustainability" of these institutions and ensuring their missions are carried out (WASC Accreditation Manual).
